Dr. Marloe Prince, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I.
Dr. Prince completed his Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, LA. He completed an additional year of training in structural heart procedures, also at Ochsner. He is committed to advancing the field of cardiology and his clinical research has been published in many peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC), the American Journal of Cardiology (AJC), and Catheterization & Cardiovascular Interventions (CCI). He has also contributed to a book chapter in Debulking in Cardiovascular Interventions and Revascularization Strategies (See publications).
He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the subspecialties of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Prince is highly skilled at performing the following procedures: coronary angioplasty (including high-risk cases), heart assist devices (e.g., Impella and TandemHeart), peripheral interventions (including carotid and renal stenting), structural heart procedures (e.g., transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), Mitraclip, Watchman, Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) closure, and Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) closure), and venous ablations. Dr. Prince uses his breadth of knowledge and experience to deliver compassionate and comprehensive cardiovascular care.
He earned his bachelor's degree from The University of Oklahoma and his medical degree from Meharry Medical College. His post-graduate training includes Internal Medicine residency at The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
In his spare time, Dr. Prince enjoys fitness, sports, traveling, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
