Dr. Okechukwu N. Mgbemena is an accomplished physician specializing in interventional cardiology and most recently serving as an Instructor at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. He completed his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and his general cardiology training at University of Florida, Jacksonville. His internal medicine residency was at Emory University. Dr. Mgbemena holds his B.Sc. in Chemistry, graduating Summa Cum Laude. 

His leadership roles include serving as a GMEC representative in the Department of Cardiology and as a Global Health Scholar at Emory with a commitment to diversity and representation in medicine.  

Dr. Mgbemena’s dedication to patient care and education continues to inspire those around him. In his free time, you will find him exploring new music while alternating between running and strength training or whipping up a new recipe in the kitchen.
